During August, Tender MNC collaborated with a number of organisations and individuals
active in the Death and Dying space on events that would engage and educate our
community. Hastings Death Cafe, Mid North Coast End of Life Doula Hub, Die-aloguers
Bookclub and Port Macquarie Hastings Library shared space at the Port Macquarie
Foreshore Markets and had a fabulous day chatting to people from all walks of life about
death.
We brought along our wonderfully painted coffin (courtesy to local artist Mel Casey) and
also had a cold-plate on display, which generated quite a bit of interest. The library
displayed their wide range of books on the topic and there was lots of info to take away
on death planning, wills etc.
We were literally busy the whole market talking to people who stopped by our stall. It is
great to see all the interest in Tender Funerals MNC, and the concept of community-
based death care. We can’t wait to open our doors.
