We can provide evaluation of research requirements and the necessary core research facilities, data analytics and biobanking resources to facilitate your medical research project.

Commercialisation

This is a bespoke service, agile and responsive to our client needs be them a researcher, start-up company, inventor, clinician or community member.

If you have a clever idea to inspire health and transform care, the Ingham Institute is your ideal collaborator and connector. From running focus groups with doctors, nurses and Allied Health professionals to patent or IP assistance, we can support your ideas through to commercialisation.

Working closely with the Liverpool Innovation Precinct (LIP) enables us to combine our innovation and commercialisation resources with those of the LIP.

We have access to clinical and research key opinion leaders for insight and advice and can connect you with extensive skills and resources through our university partners and other relationships.

Through the LIP we offer the commercialisation accelerator program and can support all components of the journey from idea to commercial product.

The various business unit services listed will also be utilised during commercialisation.

Brand, Media and Communications Support

Brand building and reputation management is a critical part of medical research as you build relationships with partners and reputation with stakeholders.

We have on-site support and a team of strategic and tactical partners who are specialised communications and media management experts. We can proactively engage the media or assist with reactive media management when required.

Conference and Event Management

Our team manage a broad portfolio of events on a weekly basis and have extensive experience in organising all types of small and large events at our Ingham Institute facilities and third-party venues.

We can manage your event planning, promotion, venue, catering, audio visuals, technology, registrations, logistics, financials and all the critical elements to ensure you create and deliver a powerful and successful conference or event.

Examples include: industry conferences for 1000+ attendees, exclusive VIP board room lunches, gala’s for 500+ guests, research workshops, community seminars and multicultural information sessions.

Our team has the expertise to customise your event to maximise and grow collaborations, engagement and opportunities amongst research peers, commercial supporters and community members.

Research Training

The Ingham Institute runs several programs to support researchers, including the Research Methodology Series which is now in its seventh successful year.

Our courses are designed for clinicians wanting to progress their career in medical research. These courses are streamed to each SWSLHD site and modules are spread over a series of sessions covering elements of medical research. The Institutes fortnightly research seminar series welcomes guest presenters from local and overseas leaders.
